A Tarot spread for determining a course of action

You could try this spread for determining a course of action - it's a Five Card Spread: 

Card 1:   The present or general theme of the reading
Card 2:   Past influences still having effect
Card 3:   The future
Card 4:   The reason behind the question (this will probably shed light on 2)
Card 5:   The potential within the situation.

This is a very useful spread when trying to decide a given course of action. Card 4 will often reveal a subconscious impulse - perhaps a blockage which is stopping you from achieving your desired result. Card 5 shows the possible results from taking a given course of action. The spread works best if, whilst selecting the cards, you concentrate on one aspect of the decision, rather than either/or type questions.

Card 1:   The present
Card 2:   The immediate challenge facing the querent. You will often pull a difficult card here, which will indicate an obstacle that must be overcome. When you pull a "good" card here, examine it carefully because it will still represent a challenge.
Card 3:   Distant past, foundation. This card should indicate the root of the subject matter of the question
Card 4:   More recent past, including events. This will indicate events taking place, not necessarily directly connected to the question. For example, if a love affair going wrong Card 3 would show the root of why it is going wrong, whereas Card 4 will show something that recently happened to reflect this. You could see this as a "check comment" card - a way of seeing that the reading is sound.
Card 5:   The best that can be achieved. This is directly related to the question. Note that this may not necessarily gel against Card 10 - it depends whether you are able to get the best. However, a negative card here probably means that it is worth cutting your losses rather than putting any more effort into the situation.
Card 6: Immediate Future. This indicates events in the next few days or week(s). This reading does not cover months.
Card 7: Factors or inner feelings affecting the situation. Compare this against Card 1 in order to understand underlying forces/trends. If there is conflict between them this tends to indicate that the querent is going in the wrong direction.
Card 8: External influences. People, energies or events which will affect the outcome of the question and are beyond the querent's control.
Card 9: Hopes or fears around the situation. This may produce a card that confuses us badly. Always bear in mind that hopes and fears are closely intertwined, therefore that which we hope for may also be that which we fear, and so may fail to happen. Sometimes it is useful to draw a second card for clarification after the reading has been laid, and to read the two together.
Card 10: Final outcome. This is a fairly self explanatory card. However it is worth saying that if the card comes up somewhat ambiguous, once again it may be worth drawing three extra cards to clarify. These should be interpreted through the lens of Card 10. So if the card drawn is the Tower and we draw the Ace of Cups, Princess of Cups and Four of Cups in a reading about a relationship, the Tower would indicate that it is time to move on. The Ace of Cup suggests that a new relationship is promised with better things ahead. The Princess of Cups brings new love (and possibly pregnancy). The Four of Cups shows deep levels of contentment and happiness, and many options for progress.

जब भी हम कोई शुभ कार्य आरंभ करते हैं, तो कहा जाता है कि कार्य का श्री गणेश हो गया। इसी से भगवान श्री गणेश की महत्ता का अंदाजा लगाया जा सकता है। जीवन के हर क्षेत्र में गणपति विराजमान हैं। पूजा-पाठ, विधि-विधान, हर मांगलिक-वैदिक कार्यों को प्रारंभ करते समय सर्वप्रथम गणपति का 'सुमरन' करते हैं।

हिन्दू धर्म में भगवान श्री गणेश का अद्वितीय महत्व है। यह बुद्धि के अधिदेवता विघ्ननाशक है। 'गणेश' शब्द का अर्थ है- गणों का स्वामी। हमारे शरीर में पाँच ज्ञानेन्द्रियाँ, पाँच कर्मेन्द्रियाँ तथा चार अंतःकरण हैं तथा इनके पीछे जो शक्तियाँ हैं, उन्हीं को चौदह देवता कहते हैं।

देवताओं के मूल प्रेरक भगवान गणेश हैं। गणपति सब देवताओं में अग्रणी हैं। भगवान श्री गणेश के अलग-अलग नाम व अलग-अलग स्वरूप हैं, लेकिन वास्तु के हिसाब से गणपति के महत्व को रेखांकित करना आवश्यक है। वास्तु शास्त्र में गणपति की मूर्ति एक, दो, तीन, चार और पाँच सिरोंवाली पाई जाती है। इसी तरह गणपति के तीन दाँत पाए जाते हैं। सामान्यतः दो आँखें पाई जाती हैं। किन्तु तंत्र मार्ग संबंधी मूर्तियों में तीसरा नेत्र भी देखा गया है। भगवान गणेश की मूर्तियाँ दो, चार, आठ और 16 भुजाओं वाली भी पाई जाती हैं। चौदह प्रकार की महाविद्याओं के आधार पर चौदह प्रकार की गणपति प्रतिमाओं के निर्माण से वास्तु जगत में तहलका मच गया है।

यहाँ इन्हीं चौदह गणपति प्रतिमाओं के वास्तु शास्त्र के आलोक में एक नजर डालते हैं तथा उनके महत्व को दर्शाने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।

संतान गणपतिः भगवान गणपति के 1008 नामों में से संतान गणपति की प्रतिमा उस घर में स्थापित करनी चाहिए, जिनके घर में संतान नहीं हो रही हो। वे लोग संतान गणपति की विशिष्ट मंत्र पूरित प्रतिमा (यथा संतान गणपतये नमः, गर्भ दोष घने नमः, पुत्र पौत्रायाम नमः आदि मंत्र युक्त) द्वार पर लगाएँ, जिसका प्रतिफल सकारात्मक होता है।

पति-पत्नी प्रतिमा के आगे संतान गणपति स्रोत का पाठ नियमित रूप से करें, तो शीघ्र ही उनके घर में संतान प्राप्ति होगी। साथ ही परिवार अन्य व्यवधानों से मुक्ति पाएगा। मात्र इतना कर देने से अन्य दूसरे धार्मिक अनुष्ठान पर किए जाने वाले खर्च से मुक्ति पा लेंगे।

विघ्नहर्ता गणपतिः 'निर्हन्याय नमः', अविनाय नमः जैसे मंत्रों से युक्त विघ्नहर्ता भगवान गणपति की प्रतिमा उस घर में स्थापित करनी चाहिए, जिस घर में कलह, विघ्न, अशांति, क्लेश, तनाव, मानसिक संताप आदि दुर्गुण होते हैं। पति-पत्नी में मन-मुटाव, बच्चों में अशांति का दोष पाया जाता है। ऐसे घर में प्रवेश द्वार पर मूर्ति स्थापित करनी चाहिए। शीघ्र चमत्कार होगा।

वास्तु शास्त्र में ग‍णपति 

विद्या प्रदायक गणपतिः ऐसे घरों में, जहाँ बच्चे पढ़ते नहीं है अथवा वे उद्दण्ड होते हैं, पढ़ाई से कोसो दूर भागते हैं, बड़ों की इज्जत नहीं करते, गुरूजनों का आदर नहीं करते, ऐसे बच्चों में पढ़ाई के प्रति दिलचस्पी पैदा करने के लिए गृह स्वामी को विद्या प्रदायक गणपति अपने घर के प्रवेश द्वार पर स्थापित करना चाहिए। इस प्रतिमा की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा के साथ ज्ञान रूपाय नमः, विद्या नितार्य नमः, विद्या धनाय नमः तथा ज्ञानमुद्रावते नमः जैसे मंत्रों का सम्पुट बच्चों में कौतूहल पैदा करता है। शुभ मुहूर्त्त में प्रतिमा स्थापित करने का लाभ जल्द देखने को मिलता है।

विवाह विनायकः गणपति के इस स्वरूप का आह्नान उन घरों में विधि-विधानपूर्वक होता है, जिन घरों में बच्चों के रिश्ते जल्द तय नहीं होते अथवा वे बच्चे शादी से वंचित रहते हैं, ज्यादा उम्र होने पर भी शादी में रूकावट पैदा होती है, कभी मनोवांछित वर नहीं मिलता, आदि समस्याओं का निवारण विवाह विनायक गणपति की मंत्रयुक्त प्रतिमा द्वारा संभव है। प्रतिमा पर 'कामनी कान्तकांश्रये नमः, सकल कामप्रदायक नमः, कामदाय नमः जैसे मंत्रों का सम्पुट लगा होता है।

धनदायक गणपतिः आज हर व्यक्ति दौलतमंद होना चाहता है। इसलिए प्रायः सभी घरों में गणपति के इस स्वरूप वाली प्रतिमा को मंत्रों से सम्पुट करके स्थापित किया जाता है, ताकि उन घरों में दरिद्रता का लोप हो, सुख-समृद्धि व शांति का वातावरण कायम हो सके। धनदायक गणपति की प्रतिमा के साथ श्रीपतये नमः, रत्नसिंहासनाय नमः, ममिकुंडलमंडिताय नमः, महालक्ष्मी प्रियतमाय नमः, सिद्ध लक्ष्मी मनोरप्राय नमः लक्षाधीश प्रियाय नमः, कोटिधीश्वराय नमः जैसे मंत्रों का सम्पुट होता है।

चिन्तानाशक गणपतिः जिन घरों में तनाव व चिंता बनी रहती है, ऐसे घरों में चिन्तानाशक गणपति की प्रतिमा को चिन्तामणि चर्वणलाल साथ नमः जैसे मंत्रों का सम्पुट कराकर स्थापित करना चाहिए।

सिद्धिनायक गणपतिः कार्य में सफलता व साधनों की पूर्ति के लिए सिद्धवेदाय नमः सिद्धविनायकाय नमः, रिद्धि, सिद्धिप्रदायकाय नमः जैसे मंत्रों से युक्त सिद्धिदायक गणपति को घर में लाना चाहिए।

आनंददायक गणपतिः परिवार में आनंद, खुशी, उत्साह व सुख के लिए आनन्दाय नमः, सुमंगलम सुमंग लाल नमः जैसे मंत्रों से युक्त आनंददायक गणपति की प्रतिमा को शुभ मुहूर्त्त में घर में स्थापित करना चाहिए।

विजय सिद्धि गणपतिः मुकदमे में विजय, शत्रु का नाश करने, पड़ोसी को शांत करने के उद्देश्य से लोग अपने घरों में विजय स्थिराय नमः जैसे मंत्र वाले बाबा गणपति की प्रतिमा के इस स्वरूप को स्थापित करते हैं।

ऋण मोचन गणपतिः कोई पुराना ऋण, जिसे चुकता करने की स्थिति में न हों, घर-परिवार में दरिद्रता, ऋण का तांडव हो, ऐसे व्यक्तियों को ऋण मोचन गणपति, ऋणत्रय विमोचनाय नमः जैसे मंत्र से उत्कीर्ण कराकर घर में लगाना चाहिए तथा उसकी नियमित रूप से विधि-विधानपूर्वक पूजा करनी चाहिए।

रोगनाशक गणपतिः कोई पुराना रोग हो, जो दवा से ठीक न होता है, उन घरों में लोग रोग नाशक गणपति की आराधना प्रायः इस मंत्र से करते हैं- मृत्युंजयाय नमः।

नेतृत्व शक्ति विकासक गणपतिः राजनीतिक परिवारों में उच्च पद प्रतिष्ठा हेतु लोग गणपति के इस स्वरूप की आराधना प्रायः इन मंत्रों से करते हैं। गणध्याक्षाय नमः, गणनायकाय नमः, प्रथम पूजिताय नमः।

सोपारी गणपतिः आध्यात्मिक ज्ञानार्जन हेतु सोपारी गणपति की आराधना करनी चाहिए।

शत्रुहंता गणपतिः शत्रुओं का नाश करने के लिए शत्रुहंता गणपति की आराधना करनी चाहिए। मूर्तिकार प्रतिमा बनाते समय मूर्ति को क्रोध मुद्रा में दिखाते हैं। कहते हैं कि जो व्यक्ति शत्रुहंता गणपति की प्रतिमा को घर में स्थापित करके इन मंत्रों का जाप करता है- ऊँ गं गणपतये शत्रुहंता नमः, उसका कोई कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकता। शत्रु परास्त होते हैं अथवा मैदान छोड़कर भाग चुके होते हैं या युद्ध में मारे जाते हैं।
